Since I’m doing this whole diet thing, I thought I might as well share it. Today for lunch I’m having a turkey sandwich with baby spring mix, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, mustard, and salt and pepper on  9 grain sandwich thins. Its actually pretty tasty : )

Then earlier for breakfast, I had Greek yogurt with a banana and a whole wheat English muffin with a natural strawberry jam.

Whole food markets are starting to be my best friend.

So why an I dieting? Well its not really dieting, its kinda more like a change of lifestyle. I’m turning 21 in a couple of weeks and I still ate like a damn 10 year-old. I’m sick of it. I felt slow in the morning and I had absolutely no energy.

So now I’m making healthier choices and I’m feeling great! I’m really surprised as to how I’ve adapted to it so quickly and how much I’m really enjoying it! I’m not cheating and actually feels amazing to decline fast food, junk food, or fatty foods in general.

I’m also working out everyday, which is great. I only wish that I can wake up early enough to run in the morning, but that’s something I need to work on.

As far as snacking goes, it’s a habit I can’t give up. I HAVE to eat every few hours. But now I have fruits for snacks.

So Trang, if you’re reading this, I hope you’re proud of meeeee!

I haven’t had internet in my apartment so that really takes a toll on EVERYTHING.- Can’t do hw, interning is made IMPOSSIBLE. Not to mention the few choices that I have when I have down time at home. It’s either clean, or sit down, since I don’t have cable either.

My second term in school is.. blah. I blame it on not having internet. I no inspirations, whatsoever. IT SUCKS. I feel like I could (and SHOULD) be doing better. Not that I’m failing or anything (GOD NO!) but my A-’s needs to be A+’s.

Work is.. work. Not much to say about it. Since baseball season is over, I’m not really getting entertained. And the shit talking during basketball season is annoying as hell. I’ve been working more hours, which is great because I earn more money, which I prefer to save but instead is going to stupid shit.

DIETING is hard work but I’m doing well, surprisingly. I’m eating as healthy as I can, no kidding. No fast food, no fried foods, no good food basically! BUT I feel fantastic! No more junk food, my snacks consist of fruits, granola bars and nuts. (I MISS MY HOT CHEETOS!) I plan on keeping this up as long as I can. I said I only wanted to do it for a month but I’m suddenly realizing that I need a change of lifestyle and this can be a great start.

SIGH… Ok I think I’m done =)

i’m staying busy with school work, as usual. my design fundamentals class is very basic, so i can’t say we’re doing lots of crazy things. since everything is done by hand, i have some limitations as to having creative freedom and keeping the work tight and clean.

i had an hour of sleep, because i was working on my business pitch for class. it went pretty well, i think, but for some reason i felt like i was talking in a higher pitch than usual. that’s what happens when i get nervous?

the assignment (my midterm) asked us to present a mock pitch with a complete idea & business model for an investor to invest $100k in.

naturally, i opted to model my business after a creative agency that does a range of designs from identity to store concept designs. like always, i felt like my idea was bigger than i was able to handle for the project since it required me to produce ALL my content from scratch, while some people literally just threw together powerpoints . that made me mad, LOL.

i’m changing my major. after a sleepless night of being on illustrator and just producing random shit, i’m going  full concentration into graphic design dammit.

and i can’t wait to get my phone. i’ll be converting to the new iphone, honestly just because of the camera. it’s a stupid reason, i know but i don’t have a point and shoot and the phone is just really sexy lol. i’ve already picked out an accessory too! peep this!

i’ll have more pics to blog! yay!! and i swear every time i go to jess’s (<- is that grammatically correct?) blog, she makes me wanna get excited about getting it even more!!!!

By the way, the drive to and from vegas was terrible. I didn’t drive but it was way too long and way too hot. So next time, we’re definitely flying!
