
Since I’m doing this whole diet thing, I thought I might as well share it. Today for lunch I’m having a turkey sandwich with baby spring mix, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, mustard, and salt and pepper on 9 grain sandwich thins. Its actually pretty tasty : )
Then earlier for breakfast, I had Greek yogurt with a banana and a whole wheat English muffin with a natural strawberry jam.
Whole food markets are starting to be my best friend.
So why an I dieting? Well its not really dieting, its kinda more like a change of lifestyle. I’m turning 21 in a couple of weeks and I still ate like a damn 10 year-old. I’m sick of it. I felt slow in the morning and I had absolutely no energy.
So now I’m making healthier choices and I’m feeling great! I’m really surprised as to how I’ve adapted to it so quickly and how much I’m really enjoying it! I’m not cheating and actually feels amazing to decline fast food, junk food, or fatty foods in general.
I’m also working out everyday, which is great. I only wish that I can wake up early enough to run in the morning, but that’s something I need to work on.
As far as snacking goes, it’s a habit I can’t give up. I HAVE to eat every few hours. But now I have fruits for snacks.
